WWE Wrap Up: Braun Strowman thanks The Big Show, Roman Reigns taking time off

Like any other week, we were supposed to have a few rumours, mixed with a dash of probabilities and day – to – day news. However, Matt Anoa’i’s death has brought the professional wrestling world to a standstill. Any death in the industry is mourned by the fans and those involved in the business; however, the death of one of the nicest guys in the industry made it that much harder, to digest the unfortunate turn of events.

Roman Reigns reportedly taking time off to deal with the tragedy

Couple of weeks ago on RAW, Roman Reigns was written off TV, after being viciously attacked by Braun Strowman. Furthermore, Reigns did not appear on this week’s episode of RAW. While Roman is scheduled to appear on RAW next week, he was given time off after his brother’s passing.

Roman is not scheduled to work this weekend’s live events, and is expected to take time off after appearing on RAW next week. Roman is being brought back to hype his upcoming match with Strowman at Payback. However, it remains to be seen if WWE gives the Superstar time off next week, going into Payback.

Speaking of Roman Reigns and his brother, two weeks ago, Matt posted a video on Facebook, where he asked the fans to go easy on Reigns. ‘The Big Dog’ is one of the most polarising Superstars in WWE today, and has often found himself on the wrong end of the fans’ ire. Matt asked the fans to let Roman do his job, and understand that he does what WWE asks of him.
