WWE will be bringing back mixed tag team matches, as a part of the Mixed Match Challenge, where the winning team will have the chance to donate $100,000 to charity. WWE announced the tournament in a landmark deal, where they will be partnering with Facebook, and streaming the tournament on Facebook Watch.
The tournament will not be shown on the WWE Network or on television, and will kick off from January 16th. The tournament will air at 10 PM Eastern, which was the original time slot for 205 Live. For the remainder of the tournament, 205 Live has been pushed back to 10:30 PM Eastern.
Alexa Bliss to partner Braun Strowman during the tournament
Couple of weeks ago, Nia Jax approached Braun Strowman, asking him to be her partner for the tournament. However, this week, Kurt Angle paired Braun with the RAW Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss.
Enzo Amore was originally picked to participate in the Mixed Match Challenge, but with the Cruiserweight Champion taken ill, his replacement will be named before the tournament.

Bobby Roode and Charlotte Flair decide to team up
On the SmackDown Live side of things, the SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair found a glorious partner in Bobby Roode. Roode and Charlotte are the first team to be officially announced from SmackDown Live, and the other competitors, as picked by the General Manager Daniel Bryan include:

The 12 episode series will be of 20 minute duration each.
