When Tendulkar launched into McGrath

A knockout game between India and Australia and India batting first? Who was the man to take center-stage? Sachin Tendulkar of course! Though he just played an innings of just 38 runs, he seemed to want to send every ball from Glenn McGrath over the boundary rope. For the spectators, it was a treat watching one of world cricket’s greatest bowlers being taken apart by a man who would go on to become one of the world’s greatest batsmen.

Sachin smashed 3 fours and 3 sixes in his innings of 38 from 37 before being dismissed by Brett Lee. It was this burst that gave momentum to the Indian innings which a young Yuvraj Singh made use of, and scored 84 runs on debut!.
