Indian captain Virat Kohli produced a magnificent double hundred against Sri Lanka in Nagpur and put India in a commanding position after Day 3 of the second Test.
Carrying on from his overnight score of 54, the skipper added 87 runs with Cheteshwar Pujara before the latter was dismissed for 143. Ajinkya Rahane fell early, put Kohli forged another massive partnership with Rohit Sharma, adding 173 runs for the fifth wicket. The 29-year-old went on to score his fifth double century before being caught trying to accelerate the scoring in the final session. He finished with 213 runs off 267 balls, which included 17 boundaries and 2 sixes.
