Watch: Sri Lankan spinner bowls with both hands in a single over

Sri Lankan cricket has always thrown up some unorthodox bowlers. Muttiah Muralitharan, Ajanta Mendis and the evergreen Lasith Malinga have come through their national system and thrived in the international circuit. Next in line – Kamindu Mendis.

The U19 Sri Lanka captain has the ability to bowl with both arms. In a recently concluded ODI between Australia U19 and Sri Lanka U19 at Hobart, the spinner bowled with the left arm to the right hander and with the right arm to the left hander!

Sri Lanka’s Mendis swaps arms mid-over

In incredible scenes during the second Youth ODI against Australia, U19s Sri Lanka captain Kamindu Mendis bowled with his left and right arms

This is not the first time we have seen Kamindu Mendis do this. He did it last year in the 2016 U19 World Cup and stunned the world with his ability.
