Shikhar Dhawan continued his great form with the bat, scoring a fine century on Day 1 of the third Test against Sri Lanka in Pallekele.
The opener scored his second century of the tour, producing a fluent 119 off just 123 balls after Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat. He along with KL Rahul added 188 runs for the opening partnership before the latter was dismissed 15 runs short of a century. Dhawan however went on to score his sixth Test century of his career, smashing 17 boundaries in the process.
