Mumbai Indians have restricted Royal Challengers Bangalore to a total of 142 for 5 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, in their ongoing IPL match. Owing to a disciplined bowling performance by MI, RCB never really got going, and except for Virat Kohli who made 62 off 47 balls, their batting line up failed to fire.
Among the casualties was AB de Villiers, who managed only 19 runs off 21 balls, and fell to Krunal Pandya’s bowling. Rohit Sharma took an outstanding catch off Pandya’s bowling, diving to his left to perfectly execute a one-handed attempt. Mumbai Indians would be hoping to chase down the total with relative comfort, while RCB would have to bowl in an economic fashion while taking wickets to get anything out of the match.
