South Africa were bowled out on Day 5 of the third Test against England, thanks to an excellent all-round bowling performance by the hosts at The Oval.
Dean Elgar was the lone fighter for the Proteas on the day, producing a fighting 136 but none of the other batsmen were able to support the resistance. After Lunch, he was caught at first slip off Moeen Ali, which was the beginning of a dramatic end to the 100th Test at The Oval.
The off-spinner picked up Kagiso Rabada and Morne Morkel in consecutive deliveries to become the first England spinner in 79 years to take a Test hat-trick! Morkel was initially adjudged not out by the on-field umpire Joel Wilson but a review by Joe Root overturned the decision, handing England a victory by 239 runs and securing a 2-1 lead in the four-match Test series.
