After a string of poor scores, resulting in him being dropped for a few games, Kieron Pollard finally delivered for Mumbai Indians on his return. In a do-or-die game against Kings XI Punjab, the big West Indian scored a 23-ball 50 coming in to bat with the hosts struggling at 71/4. His partnership with Krunal Pandya of 65 runs from 36 balls helped the home side recover from the damage done by Andrew Tye, and set up a platform to post a big score.
