Watch: Ishan Kishan’s 40 off 29 balls to put Mumbai Indians back on track against CSK

Indian youngster Ishan Kishan’s innings of 40 off 29 balls against Chennai Super Kings in the first game of the IPL brought Mumbai Indians back into the match in the first innings, after he walked in to bat with just 7 runs on the board. Kishan, who captained India in the 2016 edition of the U-19 World Cup particularly targeted South African spinner Imran Tahir, sending him for more than 16 runs in one particular over.

Kishan’s innings laid the foundation for Mumbai Indians to eventually reach a score of 161, giving CSK a competitive target to chase in their first game back in the IPL. Check out his innings below!
