The Sunrisers Hyderabad have started their title defence quite well this season thanks to consistent performances from David Warner, Rashid Khan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The Purple Cap holder, Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up a five-for against the Kings XI Punjab last evening (17th April) to seal the win for the Sunrisers. In a match that witnessed a lot of twists and turns, it was Bhuvneshwar who kept his composure and bowled a match-winning spell of 5/19 in his four overs.
He dismissed the in-form Hashim Amla off the very first delivery of the innings and followed it up with the important wicket of Glenn Maxwell. Bhuvi then came back in the death overs to dismiss Mohit Sharma, KC Kariappa and most importantly, Manan Vohra. Vohra was threatening to take the game away from SRH but was trapped in front of the wickets by a full-length delivery from Bhuvneshwar. Watch his match-winning spell here:
