No interview about India’s T20 success is complete without talking about MS Dhoni. VVS Laxman is one of the few cricketers who had been a senior member of the side when Dhoni debuted, and then went on to play under Dhoni’s captaincy. In his opinion, Dhoni’s success as a captain comes down to two attributes – his understanding of the tactical side of the game, and his man-management skills.
Finally, the current Indian team is probably the best fielding unit in the history of Indian cricket. Indeed the likes of Jadeja, Kohli and Raina are now among the best fielders in the world.
