UFC Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes has made the Forbes Lists for 30 Under 30 in the sports category.
The Brazilian native won the title by beating Miesha Tate in the main event at UFC 200 in 2016 and has since then gone on to defend the title twice.
She stole the headlines last December at UFC 207 when she knocked out former champion and one of the greatest of all-time Ronda Rousey in just 48 seconds. She defended the title in 2017 against Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 215 via split decision and is likely to end the year as champion.
Apart from this, Nunes is also the first openly gay champion in UFC history.
The 29-year-old and Canelo Alvarez are the only two combat sports athletes in the list, which also features LA Galaxy’s Giovani Dos Santos and US Open Champion Sloane Stephens.
