Former India captain and all-rounder Ravi Shastri has been appointed as the head coach of the Indian cricket team. After a lot of speculation about the decision to be made by the CAC on the appointment of the new coach, it has come down to Ravi Shastri to take the team into the 2019 World Cup.
Along with Shastri, Zaheer Khan has been appointed as the team’s bowling consultant, while Rahul Dravid has been appointed as the team’s batting consultant on overseas tours. Here are some of the reactions to the three latest appointments by the BCCI:

Batting, especially overseas, will be tested and will need help…can't have a better man than Rahul Dravid for that role. Good move again 👍

#RahulDravid has been appointed overseas batting consultant.
This has to be one of the most specialised roles in the history of the sport.
