On 7th January 2010, MS Dhoni powered India to a six-wicket victory over Bangladesh, producing an excellent knock of 101* at Mirpur.
Chasing a stiff target of 297, India got off to a terrible start, with the three wickets falling within the first ten overs. At 51/3, the Indian captain joined 21 year-old Virat Kohli at the crease. The pair were calm under pressure, and put together a game-changing partnership of 152 runs for the fourth wicket. While Kohli was dismissed for a well-played 91, Dhoni was joined by his Chennai Super Kings teammate Suresh Raina and they guided India to a comfortable win with 21 balls to spare. While the southpaw hit his 14th half-century, Dhoni registered his seventh ODI hundred, his 107 ball knock including nine boundaries.
