Jason Jordan injured, Johnny Gargano gone from NXT

Johnny Gargano gone from NXT

At the NXT tapings this week, Gargano faced the NXT Champion Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas, with his wife, Candice LeRae in his corner. Gargano faced Almas at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia, but failed to win the NXT Championship.

Going into their match on NXT, Gargano had to win the match, or would have to leave NXT. As it turned out, Johnny ‘Wrestling’ failed to pick up the victory, and after the match, he spent time with the NXT Universe.

Tommaso Ciampa cost Gargano the win, by attacking him yet a crutch yet again. While this could lead to some kind of angle with Gargano staying on NXT, it could’ve also been done as a way to bring Johnny to the main roster.

Jason Jordan suffering from a legitimate back injury

Jason Jordan is reportedly working hurt

At the Royal Rumble, Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins defended the RAW Tag Team titles against The Bar. During the match, Jordan claimed to have suffered a serious injury, and decided to bail on his tag team partner. As a result, Rollins and Jason lost the tag team titles to Cesaro and Sheamus.

Rollins and Jordan are expected to face each other at WrestleMania, and the fall out from the Royal Rumble was supposed to further the storyline. However, Jason’s inconspicuous absence on RAW led to rumours that the he is suffering from a legitimate injury.

It is now being reported that Jordan is suffering from a neck injury. Dave Meltzer recently reported that Jason is suffering from what is currently perceived to be a serious injury, as he is having issues with his grip. Paige recently suffered a serious injury, where she lost the feeling in her limbs, and has arguably wrestled her final WWE match.

Jason was also expected to be in the Elimination Chamber match, but according to multiple reports, those plans have now been nixed. While his match with Seth can still happen at WrestleMania as planned, nothing is concrete at this point.
