Ravindra Jadeja has replaced Bangaldesh’s Shakib Al Hasan as the No. 1 all-rounder in Test cricket, as per the latest ICC rankings. Jadeja moved up in the rankings after his stellar performance in India’s last Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo.
Jadeja’s seven wicket haul, coupled with his knock of 70 not out helped him move up to the No. 1 spot for the first time in his career with 438 points, while also gaining nine places to reach the 51st rank in the Test batting rankings. His teammate Ravichandran Ashwin is not far behind him in the all-rounder’s rankings, occupying third spot with 418 points.

Meanwhile, Indian batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane have also moved up in the rankings after their centuries in the Colombo Test. Pujara’s 133-run knock in his 50th Test has taken him to a career-high 888 points and third position, while Rahane moved from 11th to fifth position with his innings of 132.
