India’s T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Australia all-rounder Ellyse Perry and England opener Danielle Wyatt have been named in the same side for the upcoming Women’s T20 Challenge in Mumbai.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squads for the upcoming exhibition game on Thursday.
Earlier, the BCCI had announced that Harmanpreet and opener Smriti Mandhana will lead sides, IPL Supernovas and IPL Trailblazers respectively.
Supernovas, Kaur’s team, also comprises of India’s ODI captain Mithali Raj, Veda Krishnamurthy and Australia captain Meg Lanning. Trailblazers, led by Smriti Mandhana, have wicketkeeper Alyssa Healy, pacer Jhulan Goswami, Suzie Bates, Beth Mooney and Danielle Hazell as the big names in the side.
The match will be played before the first Qualifier match on May 22 at 2 pm in Mumbai.
