Virat Kohli became the first player to register six double centuries as captain, going past Brian Lara’s record on Day 2 of the third Test against Sri Lanka.
He has also tied himself with Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag as the Indian batsman with the most double centuries. There were plenty of reactions after his achievement. Here are some of them!

RUN MACHINE @imVkohli: I've lost count of the number of centuries he's scored this year, and double tons in his career. Could we be seeing his first triple today I wonder…

Six double hundreds in all of 17 months. Making batting look ridiculously easy. Can't be right? If it was, the others would stack up the same numbers. Modern Master. #INDvSL #RunMachine @imVkohli ????

6th double hundred for Virat in less than 500 days. Special players make it count and Virat Kohli is extra special. Amazing intent right from the beginning.#INDvSL
