Ross Taylor produced one of the greatest performances in a run-chase to help his side level the ODI series 2-2 against England at Dunedin.
The 33-year-old battled through injury and scored an unbeaten 181 off 147 balls, including 17 fours and six sixes. It was the fourth highest score in a run-chase and the third highest by a New Zealand batsman in ODIs
Taylor was well supported initially by Kane Williamson with 45 and then by Tom Latham, who scored a 67-ball 71. A blitz from Colin de Grandhomme followed by a cameo from Henry Nicholls sealed the game for the hosts, taking the series to a decider in Christchurch on Saturday (March 10).
