Another excellent performance by the Indian side took them over the line against Sri Lanka in their fourth clash of the 2017 Women’s World Cup.
India posted a decent target of 232/8 in their 50 overs, thanks to half-centuries from Deepti Sharma and skipper Mithali Raj. Sri Lanka got close to the target, with Dilani Surangika’s 61 in the middle order, but tight spells from the slow bowlers, especially leg-spinner Poonam Yadav kept India’s winning streak alive in the tournament.

There's a lot to like about this @BCCIWomen unit especially the balance between youth and experience.
