Bangladesh registered their maiden victory against Australia in Test matches, sealing a 20-run win in the first Test at Dhaka.
Way back in 2006, Bangladesh were on course to notch up their first victory against Australia in Tests after setting them a target of 307. But a brilliant hundred from captain Ricky Ponting denied the ‘minnows’ their glory moment.
Proceedings were moving along similar lines at Dhaka in the first Test, as David Warner left behind his poor run of scores and produced a brilliant century under pressure on Day 4. But Shakib Al Hasan dismissed the centurion and the home side capitalised on the opening. Pat Cummins gave the fans some nervy moments with his 33, but the tail at the other end could not hold up against the spinners, and Bangladesh went on to register a historic victory.
Here are some of the reactions after the victory!

Magical scenes in Dhaka. Australia will be the last team to underestimate Bangladesh, who have beaten Eng, SL & Aus in 12 months. #BANvAUS
