Manchester City were confirmed champions of 2017/18 Premier League, after Manchester United lost their home game against West Bromwich Albion 1-0 on Sunday. With the Old Trafford outfit losing the game, the maximum points tally they can reach this season is 86, and their rivals as currently placed on 87 points, after an emphatic victory of Tottenham Hotspur a day earlier.
Pep Guardiloa’s men have been exceptional this season, delighting the Premier League audience with some of the best football the competition has seen over the last decade. This is City’s fifth title and Guardiola’s first.
